202 imagesAcadia is currently my favorite National Park. The combination of mountains on the ocean creates amazing views. I've been here several times including for my honeymoon. This is a small fraction of the photographs I've taken here! http://www.nps.gov/acad/

82 imagesThere are 45 miles of carriage roads in Acadia National Park built by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and family for horse-drawn carriages. They're still used by horses, as well as bicyclists and hikers. We also learned that they work great with strollers when taking toddlers to Acadia. Liking complete collections, we traveled to all 17 bridges so I could take photos of them. I hope you like them!

2 imagesOn our way to my father's wedding, we drove through Adair, Iowa. Seeing the smiley face water tower, we had to pull over and take a photo.

16 imagesWhile in Alaska for a business trip and visiting family, we explored the area around Anchorage and attended the Fur Rondy. Definitely have to go back in the summer when we have more time to explore the national parks there and take more mountain photos.

15 imagesAlmost every Thanksgiving is spent on Cape Cod with my family. The beaches are a little chilly that time of year, but you don't have to deal with the traffic and there are plenty of parking spots in Provincetown.

22 imagesHad a wonderful time in Jamaica for our baby-moon. As you can tell from most of my photos, we normally do power vacations, but with my wife being eight months pregnant, we took it easy this time...

4 imagesThis park has my favorite waterfall, The Devil's Kettle. The river splits and half goes into a huge hole and they still haven't quite figured out where it goes... Learn more at http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/judge_cr_magney/

31 imagesTower Hill Botanic Garden is where I proposed to my wife and where my family spends a lot of time. They have a wide variety of gardens, statuary, plants, and flowers and even simple hiking trails. Our favorite is the field of daffodils. If you're in the area, definitely visit it.
